VEHICLE DETAILS RGS 598R 1976 Bedford YMT Engine - Bedford 8.2 litre Gearbox - 5-speed Bodywork - Duple 679/7300 Seating - 57 Chassis Number - FW454711 This chassis was the first Bedford to be extended from 11m to 12m by Tricentrol Chassis Developments Ltd of Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, and was seen on show in the display park at Earls Court for the 1976 Commercial Motor Show. It stayed with Eagre for almost thirteen years until bought by Spratts of Wreningham, Norfolk in 1995. It was bought for preservation by member Nick Dasey in October 2002.
